Ricky's Steak & Buffet was as advertised, a very enjoyed meal, I had the medium rare sirloin, and paired with the rutabaga, sweet potato, and a salad. I enjoyed this meal, Oh by the way the yeast rolls just melt when you bite them. Absolutely no complaints here, the service was great! Great Value!

The food is good but if you do carry out at dinner time, it will cost you an arm and leg! The first time , I went for take out at dinner time with a friend(carry out) and we didn't get that much food in our containers, it cost almost $30.00 for the both of us! I went back yesterday and got carry out for just myself and didn't get much food(because of how high it was when my friend and I got carry out) mine came out to almost $20.00, alone?I should have left that food, right there, I wasn't thinking! The cashier was looking at me crazy because she knew it was too high,too! I have gotten way more food from other buffetts, just as decent or even better(carry out) in other cities and never paid this much! Those scales couldn't be accurate or/and the cashier is stealing! Ricky why is the take out so high? The food isn't that spectacular! What a joke! You should cap it at a certain price for take out!

As always, the best food , nicest staff, everything is at the right temperature. Ricky is around greeting guests and working to keep everything running smoothly. This is our favorite place ever. Fantastic.

We came from Birmingham Alabama to our daughters graduation. Needed to find a place to eat. We were going to go to Bonnie Blue House but they were closed until 5 PM, so we came here. We are so glad we came. Food and service was beyond awesome. We will be back.

Ricky's used to be the local Golden Corral. With that said, Ricky, the owner of the place, is always on hand to give a warm welcome, a smile and a handshake, even if it's been a few months since you've been there. The wait staff are the same way- friendly and engaging even while you sit in wonder that your tea glass never gets empty. The food is hot, good, and filling. There is a lot of variety, with a few constants such as the fluffy yeast rolls, golden delicious, and covered with butter. There is generally fried chicken on the buffet, and the baked potato bar, and there is always a salad bar, generously stocked, and a dessert bar. On the hot bar they rotate out many of the items on the hot bar daily, so you can literally go every day to get something different. They have take out, which is sold by weight instead of by the flat rate of the buffet price. But even the buffet price is still a good value. They have plenty of seating so you could, theoretically, bring a church full of people with room left over. The bathrooms are clean and always stocked.
